We tried multiple different drinks at the Alchemy Bar and each one was amazing. I would tell them that I wanted something fruity or made with tequila and they would whip up a delicious cocktail that I loved. Their quick wit and impressive bartending skills made us migrate to the Alchemy Bar every chance we could. The cool thing about the Alchemy Bar is it is not just custom cocktails. They will whip up a custom mocktail or flavored water if that is your preference.

This accomplishment is noteworthy, especially when considering that a single ship can host between 10 and 15 bars. This menu is up-to-date as of 2024 and reflect the latest price increase. Available on embarkation day on all ships departing from Texas. The Skybox Sports Bar is available on the Conquest, Freedom, Glory, Horizon, Liberty, Miracle, Pride, Spirit, Sunrise, Sunshine, Valor, Vista. The small bar does not offer much seating, but odds are you will grab your drink and head to a lounger, the whirlpools, or another seat nearby.

If you are lucky enough to score some of the stadium style seating near this bar, you will have some great views of the action one deck below. Located on the starboard side of Deck 8 is the Havana Bar. This venue is open to all cruisers, and it is one of the liveliest bars on the ship.
The Fortune Teller Bar is beautifully themed with some truly unique and out-of-this-world cocktails. It’s available exclusively on the Carnival Mardi Gras in the French Quarter zone. Brass Magnolia is a New Orleans-themed themed bar located in the French Quarter Zone on the Carnival Mardi Gras. Bonsai Sushi is the place to go if you’re looking for fresh sushi on a Carnival cruise.
Complete with a flickering sign, it offers a signature cocktail menu featuring classic drinks from around the world, like an aperol spritz or a Caipirnha. Located in the Gateway Zone is a brand new bar on Carnival Celebration, the Golden Jubilee Bar. At this lounge, cruisers take a step back to the golden age of cruising. For each cocktail, the mixologists methodically squeeze a fresh lime or muddle a new mint leaf. You won’t find any premixed jugs of sweet and sour mix, and even the garnishes have a flourish here.
This festive Mexican-inspired bar is located on the Lido deck in the middle of all the action. This signature menu features a variety of margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks, as well as beer and other tequila offerings. Again, most of the menu is also covered in the Cheers package, so be sure to grab your favorite margarita while enjoying a sea day by the pool. Heading inside from the Lido deck, you will have to travel down to deck 5 for your next drink around the ship conquest.
The menu also features some great signature cocktails, like a Bacon Manhattan. Home to two pianists and a signature cocktail menu, this intimate lounge is adorned in metallic and black finishes. The piano is located at the forward of the lounge and the bar is set off to the side. The Alchemy Bar is a step above your normal cruise ship bar. This bar is not about blenders, funky glasses, or loud music. The Alchemy Bar on Carnival Cruises is all about producing an amazing cocktail in a relaxed setting.
This cocktail bar with a pharmacy theme serves up mixed drinks with creative ingredients to cruisers who like a little style with their substance. Freshly prepared botanical-forward drinks are the star at the Alchemy Bar. The Cucumber Sunrise (a fan favorite) made with vodka, fresh lime juice, watermelon nectar and muddled cucumber is definitely worth checking out.
As I mentioned before, this isn’t a place where you grab a drink and go, especially since the handcrafted nature of the cocktails means it can take a few minutes for each to be prepared. You’ll find that guests here tend to wind up talking with one another, comparing notes on the various cocktails and enjoying the show that is unfolding behind the bar. Don’t be surprised if you wind up having so much fun you miss your dinner reservation. Personally, I love Alchemy Bar’s herbal cocktails, so my favorite is the Restorative Basil Drop (vodka, basil, simple syrup, and citrus). A very close second for me, however, is The Perfect Storm, which is made two types of rum, strawberry purée, a rosemary sprig, and fresh lime.
